What are the Vuci Awards
We launched the Vuci għall-Annimali Awards to recognise and honour individuals and organisations for their outstanding efforts to safeguard and protect animals. These dedicated advocates often stand courageously against powerful lobbies, the state, institutions, and corporate interests to defend animal rights and well-being.
Our initiative features two distinct awards: the Unsung Animal Warrior Award and the Vuci għall-Annimali Award. By celebrating their tireless work, we aim to foster a culture of compassion and support for animals. These awards will be held annually to shine a light on their remarkable contributions and inspire further action in the community.
What you need to know
Terms & Conditions
Nominations are open to individuals, organisations that have demonstrated significant dedication to animal welfare. Self-nominations are also welcome. Members of the Vuci għall-Annimali team are not eligible for nomination. Only one form submission per nominator is allowed. If multiple forms are submitted, only the first submission will be considered. Nominees must reside in the Republic of Malta and be at least 16 years of age.
Submission of Accurate Information
By submitting a nomination, nominators confirm that all information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge. Any misleading or false information may result in disqualification.
Privacy and Confidentiality
All personal information submitted with the nomination will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the Vuci għall-Annimali Awards. Nominator contact information will only be used to verify details or notify nominees.
Mailing List
By submitting a nomination, the nominator’s email address will be added to the Vuci għall-Annimali and Veggy Malta mailing lists. Nominators will receive newsletters, information, campaigns, petitions, and event updates. Nominators can unsubscribe at any time.
Selection Process
All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The panel’s decision is final, and nominees may not appeal. Only selected nominees will be contacted regarding the outcome of their nomination.
Publicity and Permission
By submitting a nomination, nominators grant the Vuci għall-Annimali Awards permission to publicly announce selected winners and finalists. Stories, photos, or submitted materials may be used for promotional purposes with due credit.
Award Conditions
The award cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash and holds no monetary value.
Right to Amend
The Vuci għall-Annimali Awards reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or adjust award categories as necessary.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a nomination, nominators agree to the above terms and conditions.
